This week’s special guests:
 Bruce Simpson.
He has been practicing law since 1983. He focuses on civil litigation, civil rights, and land use law. Bruce is passionate about giving back and actively works on pro bono cases, supporting marginalized individuals in need of legal assistance. Several of these cases are noteworthy and have garnered attention, including one highlighted on the CBS national news program “60 Minutes.” Additionally, he has received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell since 1994.
Simpson survived an attempted suicide in 2023. He has been to the darkest, most forbidding, and painful place that no human should ever venture.
For many years, Simpson battled the heavy weight of untreated depression and grappled with haunting suicidal thoughts that clouded his existence. He realized that seeking help and accessing mental health treatment could lead to significant healing and a brighter future.
 Bob Maxwell.
Bob Maxwell is the Founder, Publisher, and CEO of Veterans World Magazine and its parent non-profit organization, Voice of the Veteran. Bob is a former police officer.
Based in the Henderson/Las Vegas area of Nevada, his multimedia platform amplifies the voices of military heroes and produces podcasts and internet shows.

For many military veterans, the battle does not end when they leave active service. The physical and emotional impact of military life can continue long after deployment, affecting not only veterans but also their families. Recognising this need, the Pembrokeshire PTSD Camp project aims to create a dedicated sanctuary in Wales where veterans and their loved ones can find support, recovery, and community.
A Vision for the Future
The Pembrokeshire PTSD Camp, promoted by The Late Night Veterans Show, is an ambitious three-year initiative focused on purchasing land in Pembrokeshire, Wales. The long-term goal is to establish a purpose-built retreat where veterans can escape the pressures of daily life and access the support they need in a peaceful environment.
The project seeks to provide a safe and welcoming space where veterans can reconnect with others who understand their experiences while receiving practical and emotional assistance.
What the Camp Will Offer
The proposed camp is designed to be more than just accommodation. It aims to become a comprehensive support centre for veterans and their families by providing:
Free Accommodation and Respite
Plans include the construction of residential units and bunkhouse-style facilities where veterans can stay at no cost. Food and accommodation will be provided free of charge, allowing individuals and families to focus on recovery and wellbeing without financial concerns.
Professional Support Services
The camp intends to offer access to professional therapy, life coaching, and wellbeing programmes. These services are designed to help veterans address challenges such as PTSD, anxiety, stress, and the difficulties that can accompany the transition from military to civilian life.
Family-Focused Assistance
Military service affects entire families, not just those who serve. By welcoming veterans and their families, the project acknowledges the importance of providing support networks that strengthen relationships and promote collective healing.
Community and Brotherhood
One of the most powerful aspects of military life is the sense of camaraderie and belonging. Many veterans report feeling isolated after leaving service. The Pembrokeshire PTSD Camp aims to rebuild those connections by creating an environment where former service personnel can share experiences, support one another, and regain a sense of community.
The project’s message is centred on hope, healing, and brotherhood—values that resonate strongly within the veteran community.
Working with Recognised Standards
The campaign states that it is approved and accredited by the Armed Forces Covenant, demonstrating a commitment to supporting those who have served and aligning with recognised standards for veteran welfare initiatives.
Why Public Support Matters
Building a dedicated veteran retreat requires significant investment. Donations will help fund the purchase of land and support the development of facilities and programmes that can benefit veterans for years to come.
Every contribution moves the project closer to creating a permanent resource where veterans can access respite, support, and companionship in a safe and understanding environment.
A Place to Heal
The vision behind Pembrokeshire PTSD Camp is simple yet powerful: to create a place where veterans and their families can find peace, support, and renewed purpose. By combining accommodation, therapeutic services, and a strong sense of community, the project hopes to become a beacon of hope for those who have sacrificed so much in service to their country.
As the campaign continues to grow, supporters are being invited to help turn this vision into reality—creating a lasting legacy of care, compassion, and respect for the veteran community.
