I am a Canadian Army veteran, who has traveled the world and experienced
many highs and lows, experienced divorce, estrangement from my children, incarceration, and
depression. I served between 1987 to 1995, as an Administration Clerk. My last 4 years I served with the Canadian Airborne Regiment, which included a 5 month deployment to Somalia on Operation Deliverance from late December 1992 to end of May 1993.

👤Sgt. Mike Rude (Ret.) served several missions while in the Canadian Armed Forces – in Somalia, Afghanistan, Bosnia.

Across the UK, many veterans and their families are living with the effects of PTSD, anxiety, trauma, and isolation long after returning home. Too many suffer in silence, feeling alone, disconnected, and without a safe place to heal.

We want to change that.

We are raising funds to build a dedicated PTSD recovery camp in Pembrokeshire — a peaceful, supportive place where veterans and their families can come completely free of charge to rest, reconnect, heal, and support one another.

This camp will provide:
• Safe accommodation in nature
• Mental health and wellbeing support
• Outdoor therapy and activities
• Family support and bonding opportunities
• A community where nobody feels alone

Pembrokeshire’s coastline and countryside offer the perfect environment for recovery, reflection, and rebuilding lives. Our mission is simple: no veteran or family should have to struggle alone because they cannot afford help.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to creating a place of hope, healing, and support for those who have sacrificed so much.
